Ron Paul's Farewell Address to Congress and the American people. Whether you are a Ron Paul fan or not, this is a must view for all who to love liberty or seek to learn about liberty and its demise.
3:21 "Why have those of us who care so much about liberty done so poorly?
I have thought a lot about why those of us who believe in liberty, as a solution, have done so poorly in convincing others of its benefits. If liberty is what we claim it is- the principle that protects all personal, social and economic decisions necessary for maximum prosperity and the best chance for peace- it should be an easy sell. Yet, history has shown that the masses have been quite receptive to the promises of authoritarians which are rarely if ever fulfilled."
5:00 "Freedom, private property, and enforceable voluntary contracts, generate wealth. In our early history we were very much aware of this. But in the early part of the 20th century our politicians promoted the notion that the tax and monetary systems had to change if we were to involve ourselves in excessive domestic and military spending. That is why Congress gave us the Federal Reserve and the income tax. The majority of Americans and many government officials agreed that sacrificing some liberty was necessary to carry out what some claimed to be “progressive” ideas. Pure democracy became acceptable.
They failed to recognized that what they were doing was exactly opposite of what the colonists were seeking when they broke away from the British."
11:48 "Our job, for those of us who believe that a different system than the
one that we have had for the last 100 years, has driven us to this
unsustainable crisis, is to be more convincing that there is a
wonderful, uncomplicated, and moral system that provides the answers. We
had a taste of it in our early history. We need not give up on the
notion of advancing this cause.
It worked, but we allowed our leaders to concentrate on the material
abundance that freedom generates, while ignoring freedom itself. Now we
have neither, but the door is open, out of necessity, for an answer. The
answer available is based on the Constitution, individual liberty and
prohibiting the use of government force to provide privileges and
benefits to all special interests.
After over 100 years we face a society quite different from the one
that was intended by the Founders. In many ways their efforts to protect
future generations with the Constitution from this danger has failed.
Skeptics, at the time the Constitution was written in 1787, warned us of
today’s possible outcome. The insidious nature of the erosion of our
liberties and the reassurance our great abundance gave us, allowed the
process to evolve into the dangerous period in which we now live."

Beck Speaks Truth on Israel
Glenn Beck has the courage to speak the truth and stand tall with Israel in a morally confused world where most cannot decipher Good from Evil.
"...A Jewish man was walking down the street in midtown Manhattan over the weekend. He passed by a group of people protesting on the street.
They were holding up signs, criticizing Israel. He was wearing a yarmulke. So they called him a “dirty Jew.”
We’ve seen this move before. We’ve seen the terror before. We’ve seen the sirens…and the bombs… and the threats.
We’ve even seen the insults. “Dirty Jew.” Nothing original there.
So I think we know what’s really going on here.
It has nothing to do with embargoes… or borders… or anything else that CAN be solved. It’s because Israel exists. And it’s a Jewish state.
Let’s be honest with ourselves. There are some people who can’t get past that.
The world’s oldest hatred. Anti-Semitism. It’s alive in our time. And it’s not hiding. It’s right there in Gaza.

More Dangerous than Barack Obama
I received this quote in an email which claims that it came from the Czech Republic . Someone over there has it figured out. It was translated into English from an article in the Prague newspaper Prager Zeitungon on 4-28-2010.
"The danger to America is not Barack Obama, but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America . Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools, such as those who made him their president."

Morality of the Market
Leave it to Milton Friedman to explain the goodness of capitalism better any of today’s economists. If only today's "elites" devoted as much time to studying Friedman as they do Marx and Alinsky...
“Not a single person in the world could make this pencil…Literally thousands of people cooperated to make it. People who don't speak the same language or practice the same religion... No central planning create this pencil. It was the magic of the price system that brought people together and induced them to cooperate so that you could have it for a trifling sum...The operation of the free market is so essential not only to promote product efficiency but to foster harmony and peace among the peoples of the world.”

Truth is the Greatest Enemy of the State
“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”
-- Joseph Goebbels
“The most brilliant propagandist technique will yield no success unless one fundamental principle is borne in mind constantly - it must confine itself to a few points and repeat them over and over”

Citizens United: the Real Story
Liberals distort and demagogue every issue they promote, but
none more than their rants against the Citizens United SCOTUS decision. The radical Tides Foundation has spent heavily on the production and marketing of a series of
leftist propaganda through an outfit that goes by the name, The Story of Stuff Project. One of
these videos, narrated by leftist spokeswoman
Annie Leonard., focuses on the Citizens United SCOTUS decision. The video is comprised of vacuous leftist talking points designed not to enlighten but to deceive. Thankfully, an excellent counter video was produced by Lee Doran which presents a point by point critique of Annie Leonard's inane leftist "arguments".

SCOTUS Likely to Rule Obamacare Unconstitutional
UPDATE: Heard enough lame analysis from the lame stream media on Obamacare and the SCOTUS decision? As usual, we turn to “prediction markets” for some sanity. Not legal here in the US, prediction markets allow people to make bets on event outcomes. We looked at prediction markets during the Walker recall election after noticing that the lapdog media was spinning the election polling
in favor of their union comrades. The actual betting results on the morning of June 5, 2012 (Recall election day) gave
Walker a 93% chance of victory. The consensus in the lame stream media
was that the race was too close to call.
Since the predictions of free individuals putting their money-where-their-mouth-is was so at odds with what the "experts" were saying, we decided to take a closer look at the upcoming SOTUS decision on Obamacare. The chart below shows a rolling 90-day closing price from the political prediction market, Intrade. Note that this graph is continually updated. Each number on the price scale represents the market-based probability in percentage terms for the event occurring (in this case, that the individual mandate is rule unconstitutional). A price of 75 represents a 75% probability of SOTUS declaring Obamacare unconstitutional.

Anna Wintour Looking for Payback: Ambassadorship
We know from history that when socialist policies utterly fail--as they always do--regimes and their promoters become unhinged and the lies become more transparent. And that seems to be what is taking place in the Axelrod-Plouffe Obama 2012 effort. After facing stiff competition in the West Virginia Democratic primary from a Federal Inmate, who received 40% in this usual Democratic stronghold, the Obama team is reaching new levels of absurdity. Can there be a more nauseating political promotion than a Hollywood .001%er supporting Obama by falsely claiming he was "the guy who created 4 million new jobs"? As usual, reality departs sharply from socialist propaganda. This month, there are 1.4 million FEWER jobs than when Obama took office, as explained in this Bill O'Reilly exchange.
Back to my original question. Can there be a more nauseating political promotion? The answer to that is a resounding yes. Below is an invitation by Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, aka Cruella Deville, to enter a contest to dine with her, Jessica Sarah Parker, and the Obamas. Imagine what a low opinion the regime must hold of the American people to think this ad will resonate. But then again, thinking is not the forte of the Obama regime. Remember when Obama was touting the success of Solyndra even though the company was on its deathbed at the time? Obama wasted $500 million taxpayer dollars to benefit his campaign bundler friend George Kaiser. Rumor has it that Anna Wintour-- also a top Obama bundler--is looking for payback from Barack with a prestigious U.S. ambassadorship in London.

Massive Lead for Walker in Recall Election
The lapdog media is spinning the Wisconsin recall election polling in favor of their union comrades. Even the usually reliable Rasmussen is way off on this one--they show only a 5 pt. lead by Walker. However, the graph below shows the results from the "prediction market" known as Intrade, where people are free to bet on election results. And those who put their money-where-their-mouth-is, are betting heavily on Governor Scott Walker. Note that at time of publication, on June 5, the price for a Walker win stood at 93. A closing price of 90 on the graph below equates to a 90% probability of event occurring (in this case, that Scott Walker wins the recall election). A $9 bet against Walker would return $100 if Walker loses. With returns like that, you can be certain that money hungry Unions would be betting large sums against Walker if they believed he had a reasonable shot at victory. In short, almost no-one is willing to bet on Tom Barrett and the unions. You can learn more about "Prediction Markets" here.

Bill O'Reilly Examines the Money Behind OWS
Bill O'Reilly in this Talking Points Memo on 5/22/2012 identifies the money and power behind the Occupy Wall Street movement. O'Reilly identifies long time left wing activist John Cavanagh, Director of the Institute for Policy Studies, which is is funded to the tune of hundreds of thousands of dollars by none other than George Soros through the Tides Foundation. Also SEIU, headed by leftist Mary Kay Henry provides free rent to OWS. Warning: viewers may want to stop the video at about 4:15 point before the inane Alan Combes chimes in.
Not mentioned by O'Reilly is Moveon.org. Here's a copy of the Moveon.org Occupy Spring training "Trainer's notes" booklet. The long list of radical organizations orchestrating OWS includes Van Jones and Rebuild the Dream, SEIU, AFL-CIO, Tides, New Organizing Institute, Movement Strategy Center, Jobs with Justice, UAW, National Peoples Action, Color of Change, UNITE HERE, Greenpeace, Institute for Policy Studies, PICO (IAF), Working Families Party, Rainforest Action Network, American Federation of Teachers, Leadership Center for the Common Good, UNITY, National Guestworker Alliance, International Brotherhood of the Teamsters, Pushback Network, Progressive Democtrats of America, Change to Win, Global Justice Alliance, Campaign Action Fund, ENGAGE, NDLON, Working Families, Presente.org, and POWER....just to name a few.
Any the MSM said the TEA Party movement was orchestrated. Amazing.

Creative Genius of Dave Brubeck
Freedom is the rallying call for those of us who oppose the social justice agenda. But lest we forget, freedom is not just the mother of productivity and wealth, but also of creativity. Jazz is truly one of the uniquely American forms of art, and the greatness of those who created it wasn't borne out of grants from the NEA or some master plan of elites. Jazz emerged spontaneously from the creative spark in the hearts of its performers and their love for their art—in a society that accepts and values individuality and change.
So, in honor of April being Jazz Appreciation Month…here is Dave Brubeck’s classic, Take Five, performed in Belgium in 1964. Enjoy the show!

If I Wanted America to Fail
"If I Wanted America to Fail" is a powerful video about how the environmental agenda has been infected by extremism and has become an economic suicide pact. The video was created by FreeMarketAmerica.Org, an organization fighting to protect America against attempts to control individuals through de-industrialization and other wacko environmentalist policies that concentrate the power of the state.
It's mission is...
"...to defend economic freedom against environmental extremism. Since the 1960s, environmental regulation has skyrocketed by over 7,000 percent! It’s a no-brainer that everyone wants clean water and clean air. But when it comes to environmental regulation, we’ve catapulted past commonsense."

Coke Partners With Communist Van Jones
Today's Wall Street Journal Op Ed reports on the pathetic appeasement of corporate America to socialist Van Jones and his Color of Change group. Color of Change has manufactured a campaign to portray the free market advocacy group, American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC), as racist as a result of its support of voter ID laws. Preposterous and even laughable you say? Well this is no laughing matter. Corporate America is joining with the radicals.
The Color of Change explicitly supports race- and gender-based preferences in government contracting, college admissions, and hiring/promotion policies.
"Color of Change and outfits like the Center for Media and Democracy are playing up the race angle because they know it has the most potential to spook big businesses. If they merely fought against tax cuts or school choice, the companies would ignore them. But if you shout "racism" in a crowded marketplace, most CEOs duck and cover.
And sure enough, Coca-Cola quickly announced it would stop its $25,000 donation to ALEC, saying in a statement that 'Our involvement with ALEC was focused on efforts to oppose discriminatory food and beverage taxes, not on issues that have no direct bearing on our business.' So Coke executives are happy to get ALEC's help in their self-interest but head for the tall grass when ALEC needs a friend. Read the full WSJ Op Ed here.So here we have it. This revolutionary, leftist organization is calling the shots with Coke, as well as with other corporate progressives/appeasers such as Mars, Wendy's, Kraft and The Gates Foundation. Doubt that Van Jones and his Color of Change is radical? Perhaps you have seen Jones as a regular guest on CNN with Soledad O’Brien and thought he looked respectable enough. Listen to his own words and judge for yourself.

Corporate Progressives Align with Van Jones Against Voter ID Laws
The Color of Change is pure Red, for its founder Van Jones—a self described Communist and former Obama Green Jobs Czar. The Group explicitly supports race- and gender-based preferences in government contracting, college admissions, and hiring/promotion policies. Astoundingly, this racist group has gotten the support of corporations such as McDonald's, Pepsi, Coca-Cola, Intuit, Kraft, Arby's, and Walgreens (more on that later).
After being exposed by Glenn Beck (see video below for one of many segments Beck ran on Jones) and subsequently fired by the Obama regime, Van Jones has been on a tirade to extinguish conservative speech and influence.
The Color of Change has campaigned hard to get advertisers to pull ads from the Rush Limbaugh radio show. The group's latest effort is to get corporate America to kowtow to drop their sponsorships of the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC), a 40 year old association of state legislators whose mission is...
So, the following shameful companies have aligned with the Communist VAN JONES to block any form of voter ID laws throughout America.
Update: As reported on Bill O'Reilly last night, Johnson & Johnson, Wal-Mart, AT&T
and State Farm Insurance all stuck with ALEC and refused to be kowtowed by the radical left.
Support them all.

Wisconsin: Ground Zero in the Battle of Liberty vs. Tyranny
Rush Limbaugh on the upcoming critical recall election of Scott Walker.
"In one corner stands Governor Scott Walker who stands with fiscal sanity, economic growth, jobs and a prosperorous state. In the other corner stands crony capitalism, back door deals, budget busting salary and wage packages...in other words the familiar stentch of economic ruin ...brought by the alliance of elected Democratic and to you be labor unions."
Corporate Progressivism: Arby's Aligns with Left and Fails
Note: This Blog Was Co-Published on Breitbart.com on 4/9/12
Corporate Progressivism—the use of corporate influence to promote the progressive agenda—is a powerful tactic used by the hard left to co-opt America’s corporate sector into submission to the left’s big government version of the common good.
Corporate progressivism takes many forms. There are extreme cases of crony capitalism such as the Obama regime’s transfer of billions of taxpayer dollars to progressive fantasy (i.e. scam) businesses like the bankrupt Solyndra or the bankrupt Solar Trust of America, whose businesses are often entwined with Obama campaign bundlers. Although largely ignored by the MSM, these cases at least make their way into the public consciousness.
Perhaps even more dangerous than these corporate crony boondoggles, is the accumulated impact of the many small acts of corporate progressivism that align big business with big government, a recipe for tyranny. One such example is Arby’s Restaurant, which, late in the game, decided to “drop” advertizing on the Rush Limbaugh show, even though Arby’s is not and has never been a national sponsor of Rush’s program. The attack on Rush was made via Twitter, a favorite tool of the activist left.
But is corporate progressivism really a good strategy, considering that self identified conservatives outnumber liberals by nearly 2 to 1? In terms of wealth and disposable, one has to assume that the advantage to conservatives is greater still.
Yes, we surround them—a fact that is both disguised by the overwhelming predominance of liberals within the media, and under appreciated by corporate America. An attack on Rush’s advertisers is an attack on conservative speech. When advertisers fold to leftist intimidation (or in Arby’s case, just pile on), they join the war on conservatism.
The good news is that it appears that the sleeping giant has awakened. Conservatives are fighting back, and may even begin to turn the tide in their favor. After receiving much criticism via Twitter, Arby’s followed its Rush attack by blocking Twitter users who disagreed with the franchise. This tactic, however, appears to have compounded Arby’s problems. Try searching Twitter for @Arbys and you will see the negative attention Arby’s is getting. By my count, those who are outraged by the company’s progressive stance outnumber the supporters of the Media Matters, manufactured attack on Rush by 20 to 1.
In desperation, Arby’s is trying to undo the damage by unblocking their Twitter followers but they cannot put the genie back in the bottle. The bottom line is that, under the leadership of its President, Hala Moddelmog (former CEO of Susan G. Komen for the Cure and Democratic donor), Arby’s appears to have made a poor business decision for its shareholders, employees, and customers by joining the activist left in opposing free speech.
Perhaps this fiasco will cause the next corporation to think twice about aligning itself with the manufactured, anti-conservative bullying of the radical left. You see, not only do conservatives eat fast food, we can also tweet, and will happily find alternative providers to progressive businesses that align themselves with the leftists like these dropped sponsors of Rush. Note, if you are a business that would like to gain market share from any of these corporate progs, please contact me here at http://johngaltlist.blogspot.com.

NBC's False Report Against Zimmerman Incites Racial Violence
NBC edited the George Zimmerman 911 audio tape in order to falsely show that Zimmerman is a racist. Some say that the desire for ratings are behind NBC’s lie. More likely, it is a purposeful intent to incite racial division as part of President Obama's 2012 campaign strategy. Whatever the intent, racial division and threats of mob violence have been the actual result.
So serious is NBC’s misconduct that it may even expose the rogue network to legal liability, as was the case when the leftist network (along with CNN and ABC) falsely accused Richard Jewel of being the Atlanta Olympics bomber in the 1996.
Let's start with the actual version 911 audio:

Let's start with the actual version 911 audio:
Zimmerman: “This guy looks like he’s up to no good, or he’s on drugs or something. It’s raining and he’s just walking around, looking about.”Now, here is NBC's purposeful distortion:
911 operator: “Okay. And this guy, is he white black or Hispanic?”
Zimmerman: “He looks black.”
Zimmerman: “This guy looks like he’s up to no good. He looks black.”Here is the full Sean Hannity segment that exposed NBC's vicious lie (go to the 2:28 mark to see NBC reporter Ron Allen’s false report).

Yes Nancy, We Are Dead Serious!
When asked about the Constitutionality of Obamacare in 2009, Nancy Pelosi famously responded with...
Yes Ms. Pelosi, we are dead serious. Following Three days of the Supreme Court putting the Obamacare on the defensive and seeing your diabolical utopian fantasy begin to evaporate gives us hope that our country is salvageable.
I sometimes wonder if wickedness or ignorance is the defining quality of liberal elites. In Speaker Pelosi’s case I come down in favor of wickedness. As the following video demonstrates, no one can honestly be this ignorant.
And of course there is this nauseating comment which says just about everything you need to know not just about the Wicked Witch of the West, but of the Democratic party and its disdain for us.

Why Does Ann Curry Hate Conservatives?
Another brave Hollywood conservative stands his ground against the boorish Ann Curry, the controversial co-host of NBC Today. Kirk Cameron was inspiring in his eloquent in his defense against the onslaught of attacks by Curry (and Piers Morgan as well).
The faux “controversial” comment (that is, controversial by the Democratic Media complex) Curry referred to was Cameron calling homosexuality "unnatural". When asked by Piers Morgan what he would advise his children with respect to homosexuality and gay marriage, Cameron went on to give a heartfelt and rational response (and one that the vast majority of Americans agree with).
As pointed out by Newsbusters, this is not the first time Curry has used her position as co-host to denounce critics of the gay agenda. In September of 2011, following the suicide of a gay teenager, Curry exploited the tragedy as she asked the boy's parents: "Do you think our churches, our politicians and other adults who adhere to an anti-gay message enable some of this hate?"
Not content to bash conservatives, Curry also fawns over fellow leftists, as in her nauseating "Thank you for your life" grovel to Harry Belafonte.
There is real hate in this country; not the faux hate cooked up by delusion liberals like Ann Curry. For example, there is this vicious hate crime—the dousing of a white teenager with gasoline by two older black teens and setting him afire—which neither Curry nor the rest of the conservative haters at NBC will report on.

When asked by Piers Morgan what he would advise his children with respect to homosexuality and gay marriage, Cameron went on to give a heartfelt and rational response (and one that the vast majority of Americans agree with).
"Marriage is almost as old as dirt, and it was defined in the garden between Adam and Eve. One man, one woman for life till death do you part. So I would never attempt to try to redefine marriage. And I don't think anyone else should either. So do I support the idea of gay marriage? No, I don't."Morgan then absurdly proclaims that if one of his sons where to suddenly to announce he were gay, Piers’ immediate response would be simply, “That’s Great”. Only in the delusional world of Hollywood liberalism can people pretend to be indifferent as to whether their children are gay.

Case Study in NBC's Journalistic Corruption
As described vividly in his Talking Points Memo, Bill O'Reilly demonstrates how the Soros funded Media Matters for America, a 501c3 "charitable" organization, lies about his commentary and how that lie is retold on NBC's prime time news. "Media bias" does not begin to describe the problem. Journalistic malpractice comes closer. O'Reilly calls it a blatant corruption of the First Amendment.
Andrew Breitbart contended that the Democratic party is actively coordinating with leftist front groups like MMfA, who in turn are actively coordinating with the mainstream media. Breitbart termed it the Democratic Media Complex. This case study bears this out.

Obama Calls for Civility While Maher Calls Palin a C*nt
Something is going terribly wrong with the Axelrod-Alinsky playbook. President Obama’s phony calls for civility are being widely viewed as the charade they are. Obama urged greater civility on Mar. 6 while lecturing us on the "course language" used by radio host Rush Limbaugh. Limbaugh has been targeted by the media and the Democrats since he called Democratic activist, Sandra Fluke, a “slut” because she lectured America on the moral necessity of having her contraception paid for by taxpayers. One could debate whether "slut" was the best adjective to describe Fluke (I myself prefer "freeloader"), yet Rush’s use of the word slut was almost quaint when compared with million dollar Obama donor, Bill Maher, who called Gov. Sarah Palin a “c*nt” during a live show in Texas and a “dumb twat” during his HBO TV show. She·PAC, the conservative women's political action committee, has answered Obama’s sickening level of hypocrisy with a powerful video.
Well Mr. President, I wonder what your daughters (and Mrs. Obama) would think of this?
Please distribute widely to anyone who believe the Democratic promoted fantasy that it is the GOP that is engaging in a "war on women".
“I thought about Malia and Sasha. I want them to be able to speak their mind in a civil and thoughtful way…and I don’t want them attacked or called horrible names.”

Soledad O'brien Defends Critical Race Theory While Attacking Joel Pollak
Breitbart editor Joel Pollak skillfully turns the tables on Soledad O’Brien's after her carefully orchestrated hit job went terribly wrong. Pollak makes an utter fool of the CNN anchor as she makes a garbled attempt to explain and defend Critical Race Theory. Soledad rudely interrupts Mr. Pollak and lectures him, claiming that Critical Race Theory is not radical, then pounds away with: “I’m still trying to understand what the bombshell is.” Pollak's apropos response:
Over and over, the Harvard educated O'Brien refers to the “tenured Harvard Professor” as a way to elevate Derek Bell. Note that Joel Pollak is also a graduate of Harvard (Law School) but is treated by Soledad with all of the reverence that CNN affords to those knuckle dragging, "Tea Baggers" (term coined by fellow, fair minded CNN anchor Andersen Cooper).
But Critical Race Theory is not something that O’Brien should be defending. As J. Christian Adams explains.
“The bombshell is happening right on this program where we have a story and you’re not interested in telling your viewers who Derek Bell is. You want to come in and obfuscate by telling me that I do not know what Critical Race Theory is.”

But Critical Race Theory is not something that O’Brien should be defending. As J. Christian Adams explains.
Critical Race Theory, in a nutshell, argues that the law is a weapon of the majority whites to oppress “people of color.” It argues for “structural racism”--the idea that American institutions are aligned against blacks, whether the oppressor is the criminal justice system, a cabdriver without a fare, businesses, government, Domino's Pizza, banks, or the police.
Critical Race Theory does not view the law as applying equally to all Americans, but advocates for racially unfair implementation of the law to right past injustice.

Grizzly and Wretched Don Imus Attacks Rush
The grizzly and wretched Don Imus went into a vicious tirade against Rush Limbaugh on his local morning show today. In defending the freeloading, "reproductive rights activist" and leftist, Imus contributed to the onslaught of progressive assault on free speech. The old goat gets more pathetic with each passing year.

Breitbart Dead at 43: His Final Prophesy Against the Radical Left
I was shocked and saddened to discover this morning on Drudge that Andrew Breitbart was dead.
Andrew was one of our bravest warriors and our loss is immeasurable. But he has inspired thousands of others to continue the good fight against the radical left that now hold the reigns of power in America. His death at the age of 43 reminds us that you only get one life and not many of us use that life to effect change in the way that Breitbart did. And Andrew had the goods on Obama, as he explains in his in inspirational 2012 CPAC speech in February.

"There's no such thing as a moderate Democrat. And so what do we get now, in Barack Obama? In this election we're going to vet him.
I've got videos, by the way, and in this election we're going to vet him. I've got videos. This election we're going to vet him. From his college days, to show you why racial division and class warfare are central to what 'hope and change' was sold in 2008.
The videos are going to come out. The narrative is going to come out: that Barack Obama met a bunch of silver pony-tails [left wing academics] back in the 1980s, like Bill [Ayers] and Bernadine Dohrn who said "one day, we're going to have the presidency.'
And the rest of us slept while they plotted and they plotted and they plotted. And they oversaw hundreds of millions of dollars in the Annenberg Challenge, from real capitalists, who gave it to their children and their children's children [who] then became communists. We've got to work on that...
Barack Obama is a radical and we should not be afraid to say it. And Barack Obama was launched from Bill and Bernadine's salon... it became self-evident to me that [Obama enjoyed] many a meal there... And don't tell me, ABC, CBS and NBC that I can't posit that theory, because it is a self-evident truth. Just like it was a self-evident truth that he was with Jeremiah Wright. And just as it was a self-evident truth that when he was at Harvard, he was advocating for the worst of the worst to join the faculty. Radicals. Radicals at "Beirut on the Charles".
And that who's in the White House. And that's who's outside right now [the Occupy movement] telling you that you don't have a right to be here. They would squelch your free speech just as easily as they do at Harvard, Vassar, Yale, Wesleyan - they're a bunch of totalitarian freaks.
The media can no longer be called objective journalists
And they pal around with our friends in the mainstream media. I always thought the media leaned to the left... but when they act like a Provost at a politically correct university and tell people to shut up, [then] no longer can they be called objective journalists. They're playing for the other side.
They've been part of demonizing good and decent people. They tried to defeat the Tea Party and when they failed, just like when they tried to create a [leftist] Rush Limbaugh and they failed with Air America, they want what they can't have. They wanted what they could not have and what did they create?

Egghead Professor Goolsbee Defends Obama’s Spending Record
What kind of blind, fool would claim–in the year 2012–that “Washington Isn't Spending Too Much”?
Answer: Leftist propagandist Austan Goolsbee, a professor of economics at the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business, and chairman of Obama's Council of Economic Advisers from 2010 to 2011.
Yes, the egghead professor embarrasses himself in this WSJ article, attempting to defend the Obama spending record with a combination of sleight of hand, demagoguery, and outright lies. Reader comments regarding Goolsbee’s arguments are overwhelmingly negative (about 10 to 1). Were the same article to appear in the NY Times, it would no doubt draw praise to the Leftist in similar proportions.
In short, Austan Goolsbee is to the profession of Economist, what Bernie Madoff is to profession of Financial Adviser.
Fortunately, Dan Mitchell of the Cato Institute tears Goolsbee’s pro-tax propaganda to shreds, in the point-by-point rebuttal below.
Dan Mitchell's full article can be here at Breitbart's Big Government.
